A special “THANK YOU” to those who have served our country
and are no longer with us.
They will ALWAYS be remembered!

Memorial Day FOOD consists of BBQ for the most part.
This holiday kicks off the unofficial start of summer…with trips to the beach, BBQ’s, and picnics.
The weather is very warm right now in New Jersey. Feels like mid-summer.
Very hot. Not complaining. Just saying.
Despite the heat, summer officially arrives on June 20, 2016.
Today, sharing something simple to make…
Hot Dogs topped with Baked Beans.
A few favorite brands makes this even more enjoyable. For me, it’s got to be
Hebrew National Beef Franks when it comes to hot dogs.
For the bun, I love potato bread. Best brand is Martin’s. So good!
And, I like Bush’s brand for the baked beans.
Best of all, so easy to put together.
The hot dogs are cooked either by boiling, broiling, sauteeing or barbecuing them. Warm the beans. To serve, place the hot dog in a bun, top with beans and enjoy. A side of RED HOT Potato Chips makes for a fiery, tasty kick to this meal.
To cool the palate, I’m making Ice Cream Sandwiches. Ahhh, nice and cold…and so delicious!
