2017 SUPER BOWL LI (51) ~ Halftime Eats: Deli Sloppy Joes

It’s gameday…SUPER BOWL LI (51)
February 5, 2017

New England Patriots vs Atlanta Falcons

Besides the ‘must have’ appetizer, Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing and celery sticks, I’m making Deli Sloppy Joes. It’s a double decker sandwich. It’s a messy sandwich to eat, but so delicious. Have lots of napkins on hand.

My recipe was inspired by Town Hall Deli in South Orange, New Jersey. Though I didn’t use it, I like the bread they use, a rye pullman bread. It is crustless. I think the crustless bread gives a nice look to the sandwich.
